Our client, a global leader in logistics and freight forwarding, is expanding their team and looking for a talented Air Export Operator to join their ranks. With 40 years of industry expertise and a presence in 25 countries, they are known for delivering personalized, high-quality logistics solutions across land, sea, and air.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage air export freight forwarding operations from booking to delivery.
- Coordinate with airlines and handling agents to arrange shipments.
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional, responsive approach.
- Prepare and execute customer quotations promptly.
- Liaise with airlines to secure the best rates and capacity for shipments.
- Resolve any shipment irregularities as they arise.
- Complete all required documentation, such as air waybills, export declarations, and certificates of origin.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in Air Export Operations and customs process.
- Familiarity with Boxtop software.
- Skilled at managing high-pressure situations and meeting tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent administrative capabilities.
- Ability to reliably commute to Heathrow.
What's on Offer:
- Competitive salary: £34,000 - £38,000
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
