The Role:
Our client, a premier provider of advanced injection-molded packaging solutions for consumer goods, healthcare, and industrial sectors worldwide are seeking Plastic Process Technicians to join their dynamic and progressive team. The technician will be responsible for performing tool changes, monitoring and adjusting machine parameters, testing batch quality, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
Responsibilities:
- Required to work with Production Manager, Technical Manager, Shift Manger, Team Leaders, Quality and Toolroom personnel.
- Uphold company and product reputation by adhering to all required Quality and Safety regulations.
- Conduct tool changes as necessary.
- Monitor and fine-tune machine parameters.
- Assess batch quality through testing.
- Report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Candidates should have achieved at least 5 O6 grades in their Leaving Certificate.
- Completed a Polymer Technology Apprenticeship qualification or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Possess a solid technical understanding of processing characteristics and parameters for a wide variety of polymer materials.
- Self-driven and motivated.
- Willingness to work on a 4-cycle shift system.
