My client is currently seeking an Injection Mould Setter to join their team on the night shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a leading company, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of their injection moulding processes.
As an Injection Mould Setter, you will be responsible for setting and optimising the injection moulding process to achieve the best processing conditions, troubleshooting and maintaining high-quality production, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities – Injection Moulding Setter
- Set up and optimise injection moulding processes to achieve optimal processing conditions.
- Fault find and troubleshoot issues in development and production processes.
- Maintain accurate departmental records and reports.
- Support tool design function when required.
- Provide support to the production team when necessary.
- Identify and arrange for the rectification of defective equipment.
- Deputise for the assistant manager in their absence.
- Assist in the development and training of colleagues within the department.
- Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Carry out any reasonable tasks within your capabilities.
Qualifications & Requirements – Injection Moulding Setter
- Proven experience as an Injection Mould Setter or similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Willingness to work night shifts and support other functions as require
