About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional School Receptionist to join our team in West Drayton. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth daily operations. Experience with Bromcom is essential for this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment and is passionate about providing excellent administrative support to a school community. The role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the school's front desk and providing a professional, welcoming environment

  • Handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries from parents, staff, and external visitors

  • Maintaining student records, attendance, and safeguarding information using Bromcom

  • Coordinating visitor sign-ins, ensuring security and safeguarding procedures are followed

  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, preparing documents, and scheduling appointments

  • Supporting staff with general office duties, including printing, photocopying, and ordering supplies

  • Liaising with school staff, leadership teams, and external agencies as required

  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

  • Supporting with event coordination and school communication as needed

Requirements:

? Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a school setting? Proficiency in Bromcom for student records and attendance management? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, parents, and staff? Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)? Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and remain calm under pressure? A friendly and approachable personality with a professional attitude? Strong organizational skills with attention to detail? Ability to work independently as well as part of a team? A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding policies? An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
