Exciting Opportunity for a SEN Teacher at a Pupil Referral Unit in Hillingdon!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Create engaging and accessible lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a PRU or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and educational strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
