Part II Architectural Assistant Job in Chalk Farm, London

A Part II Architectural Assistant job has just become available with a high-end developer in London. Our client is an established property developer working across high-end residential units and apartments in London's most prime locations. Each project is crafted by the team and undergoes meticulous design, development, and construction.

Essential disciplines such as architecture, interior design, project management, and construction are all housed under one roof. They take full accountability for every aspect of their work, driven by a collective dedication to revolutionising the standards of new home construction, from conception to completion.

The team of 30 includes Architects, Assistants, Design Managers, Site and Construction Managers, Designers, Quantity Surveyors, and a wider construction team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To work on prominent mixed-use projects in Central London from conception through to completion with a strong design/front-end focus
  • Working closely with in-house interior designers, contractors/consultants, builders, and external suppliers
  • ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Rhino and Enscape will be used throughout.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree educated with an architecture qualification and have a minimum of 1 years' experience working on residential/mixed-use projects, ideally London based
  • Hand sketching skills
  • ArchiCAD skills preferred but not essential, full training will be provided
  • Excellent 3D skills and presentation skills are a must, you will be using SketchUp, Rhino and Enscape
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policies
  • An appreciation of classical architecture and art through to current design themes and trends
  • Must have some experience and/or knowledge of high-end interior architecture.
