In this role you will Assist the Head of Membership in delivering and developing this organisation's membership offering by managing and enhancing both UK and international events, coordinating membership engagement activities, overseeing committee operations, and maintaining effective membership processes.
This includes taking a leading role in organising key events such as circuit visits, international visits, and annual dinners, while also managing the membership database, ensuring the delivery of high-quality member experiences, and supporting the production of member communications such as magazines and surveys.
The ideal candidate will live in a commutable distance to Covent Garden, have organised events, strong admin skills and have used databases. Candidate who have worked for a membership institution are encouraged to apply.

The Role:
* Event Management: Lead the organisation of UK circuit visits, annual dinners, and international amity visits, including itinerary planning, bookings, and liaison with venues and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
* Membership Engagement: Develop and implement activities to encourage member engagement and re-engagement, including surveys, feedback follow-up plans, and maintaining effective membership processes.
* Committee Support: Act as secretary for key committees and working groups, preparing agendas, recording minutes, organising meetings, and producing annual reports to support decision-making.
* Team and Project Oversight: Line-manage the Membership Coordinator and co-edit the organisation's magazine, ensuring high-quality content, layout, and overall production.
* Database Management: Serve as an internal champion for the membership database, ensuring accurate records, effective use, and collaboration across departments to enhance member experience.
* Organisational Values: Promote and model the organisation's values, including diversity and inclusion, and contribute to health and safety practices while supporting cross-departmental collaboration.
The person:
*Have strong admin skills.
*Have a proven track record in Organising Events such as Large dinners/ conferences/ exhibitions- liaise with suppliers
*Experience using databases
*Have had Line management responsibility
*Be open to UK/ international travel if need (Not regular)
