LTF Recruitment is partnering with an inclusive Primary School in W10 to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant for their Autism Resource Base. This unique provision supports a class of 7 primary-aged children with complex needs and learning difficulties, integrated within a mainstream school setting. The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated team of 4-5 TAs and a Class Teacher to provide essential support.

Main Duties will entail:

  • Working as part of a close-knit team to support primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex needs.
  • Delivering personalised assistance and helping children access the curriculum through tailored approaches.
  • Encouraging positive engagement in a structured yet nurturing classroom environment.
  • Monitoring and recording each child's progress and providing updates to the class teacher.
  • Supporting daily activities and assisting in maintaining a safe, inclusive space for all students.

Applicant Specification:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Experience working within a primary school environment or with children who have complex needs is desirable.
  • Able to develop strong, trusting relationships with children and become a key figure in the learning environment.
