Location: West End, London

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00 p/h

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (hours may vary)

We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role to ensure the safety and security of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the clinic/hospital.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using our electronic health records system.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, in a medical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and office software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Enhanced DBS check (required).
