Audit Manager Job Purpose

The Audit Manager will be instrumental in leading the finalisation of the year-end audit and the filing of the financial statements for our group of companies.

Audit Manager Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with FRS102.
  • Efficiently gather, organise, and provide necessary documentation to complete all audit deliverables.
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to meet comprehensive audit requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an audit tracker and dashboard to effectively report progress to management.
Audit Manager Person Specification

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in financial statements preparation in accordance with FRS102.
  • Extensive audit experience, preferably gained within a practice environment.
  • Must be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with excellent knowledge of FRS102.
  • Experience in accounting for business combinations and proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate complex scenarios in a simplified and understandable manner.
