Role: 1st line Network EngineerLocation: West MallingSalary: £25,000
We are currently working with a leading internet service provider who are looking to ad a 1st Line Network Engineer to their skilled and tech focussed work force.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with networking and IT experience to work in a network focussed environment where they can develop and grow as an engineer.
As a First Line Network Engineer you will be tasked with being the first point of contact for networking issues, troubleshooting and resolving issues and work closely with senior engineers to develop personally and professionally.
The role:
- Provide first line support for network incidents
- Handle service and change requests
- Respond to network related issues
- Maintain correct documentation
The ideal candidate:
- 1 yeas experience in IT/Networking roles
- Experienced in VLANS, LAN, WAN Switches and routers
- Experienced with IT support (Windows, AD GPO)
- Excellent communication
- qualifications in Networking/IT
