We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing sheet metal manufacturing company based in High Wycombe. Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking Trainee Manufacturing Operatives to join their team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career, eager to gain practical, hands-on experience and develop valuable skills within the manufacturing and engineering industry.
Position OverviewAs a Trainee Manufacturing Operative, youll be working on the shop floor, learning a variety of processes including drilling, tapping, countersinking, and spot welding. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary, although any experience in a similar environment will be considered an advantage.
This role is well-suited to someone motivated, hard-working, and keen to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in shop floor operations and production processes
- Learn and carry out drilling, tapping, countersinking, and spot welding
- Operate and assist with sheet metal machinery
- Handle sheet metal components safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to health & safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop new skills
- No previous experience required, full training provided
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus
