Job Role: Maintenance Engineer – Multi-Skilled
Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire
Salary: £40,000-£42,000 per annum (OTE £45K+)
Hours: 7:00-16:00 Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Duties:
· Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes.
· Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
· Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption
- To be on call 1 week in 3 (Paid £2,433 per year & Any callout is paid at enhanced hourly rate, with a minimum of 3 hours being paid when called out)
· Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance.
· Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
· Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.

The Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer in a food manufacturing, cold storage or manufacturing environment (essential)
· Relevant certifications (NVQ’S/City & Guilds)
· Multiskilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias
· Ability to work alone & as part of a team
