JRRL are seeking a proactive HR Assistant to help with administrative tasks within a busy HR department.  This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Human Resources and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be given plus the company will support you in your CIPD qualification.

Duties for the HR Assistant:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by managing job postings on various platforms, including social media
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in their Human Resources Information System
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation is completed and filed correctly
  • Training will be given to enable you to communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while handling employee inquiries
  • Collaborate with team members to organise training sessions and employee engagement activities

Person Specification for the HR Assistant:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • GCSE English and Maths and ideally A Levels
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • A willingness to learn new skills within the HR domain
  • No experience needed. Full training will be given with the opportunity to study towards the CIPD qualification
  • Ideally, you would be a driver or learning to drive or live close to Biggin Hill

Company hours: 8:30am to 5pm

This role is a full-time, permanent position.  The salary range reflects the candidate's age and level of experience. The lower end of the band is based on the minimum wage for 18-20 year olds working a 40 hour week and suited for individuals who may require additional training to meet the role's requirements, while the higher end is for candidates who are aged 21 and over.
