Are you ready to take on a dynamic role combining operational excellence with great admin skills? We are seeking a Record Centre Operative to join our clients team at their Westhill site. This role involves delivering exceptional service while adhering to our company's standard operating procedures and maintaining high client satisfaction.

As an RCO, you will manage daily operations in the record centre, including tracking and controlling movement of boxes, files, tapes, and other materials using specialised software. Reporting directly to the Record Centre Supervisor, this role offers a diverse and rewarding opportunity.

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfill daily client work orders promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure rush orders are processed without delay.
  • Prepare materials for dispatch to drivers and transport specialists.
  • Refile containers and tapes efficiently, meeting allocated timescales.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety checks.
  • Maintain order in assigned racking and storage areas, reporting required repairs.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Conduct scheduled and on-request audits.
  • Process destruction orders and inbound tasks following standard operating procedures.
  • Complete daily paperwork and adhere to all company policies and training requirements.
  • Safeguard client and team member data, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
  • Report security, environmental, or health and safety incidents promptly.

Candidate Requirements

  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work across different teams.
  • Physical ability to perform routine lifting, bending, stretching, and moving boxes.
  • Competency with scanning and handling pallet jacks.
  • Willingness to train in forklift and pick-lift operation.
  • Commitment to working safely and adhering to site and company policies.
