This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day of the role

  • Teaching/assessing on a range of Computing/Digital related Programmes at both College and University level.
  • Delivery/assessment on courses related to your specialist area and on a wider range of Computing subjects, ensuring that Apprentices develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours within the apprenticeship standards.
  • Work closely with the teaching teams and programme leaders to ensure clarity of each candidate’s college-based qualification and their progress/completion.
  • Monitor and support effective quality assurance procedures as part of the apprenticeship quality team.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Relevant degree level qualification.
  • Current knowledge and understanding of current industry practices.
  • Computing qualification or relevant experience.
  • Promoting a culture of involvement, listening and responsiveness to Student’s Needs.
