Salary: £140 - £190 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Pupil Referral Unit based in Weston-super-Mare, who are looking to appoint a Teacher from September to teacher PSHE, Citizenship & Sociology. They are highly committed to helping their pupils achieve more than they might believe is possible. This Pupil Referral Unit has recently been awarded an ‘Good’ OFSTED rating. Largely populated, this setting has key values such as maintaining a passion for learning, whilst providing education for life. With 45 students on role, classes are small with a maximum of 5 students and excellent support staff in each class. 

The school is looking to take on a driven PSHE, Citizenship & Sociology Teacher on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right PSHE, Citizenship & Sociology Teacher. The Senior Leadership Team are dedicated to ensure the successful Teacher will be supported and developed from day one.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

· QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)

· Experience with SEMH & challenging behaviour

· Excellent classroom management
