Salary: £110 - £160 per day

I am hiring for a secondary school in Weston-super-Mare who are looking for Cover Supervisor staff that can support on a casual basis covering teachers. The school is a dynamic 11-19 school committed to delivering a high-quality curriculum that builds on prior learning, sets high expectations, and prepares students for bright futures. As part of thea larger trust, the academy offers an innovative and engaging educational experience designed to inspire and support every student in achieving their aspirations.
Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Experience working in schools or with children in similar roles
- Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
- Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
- Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
