I am working with a Primary School in the BS23 area of Weston-Super-Mare who are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to work with children who have a range of Learning Needs.
This Primary School is a fabulous school to be a part of. They encourage children to have enquiring minds, take pride in their achievements, and have respect for moral and personal values.
The Role
This position is a Full-Time Learning Support Assistant role, working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30 until the end of the academic year.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone with prior experience working with children or has a great knowledge of support SEN. Someone who is proactive, energetic, and committed to engaging pupils, developing their desire to learn.
You will be expected to:

Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to assess childrensā development.

Have an ability to be adaptable depending on the pupil you are working with.

Have prior experience working with children.

Have some sort of knowledge of ASD, SEMH and/or Global Delay/

Help recourse and deliver activities.
