Elevation Accountancy and Finance were delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Wetherby as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests
- Bank reconciliations
- Raising Bank payments
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Raise sales invoices including processing rental income statements
- Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements
- Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements
- Maintain daily ledgers including monitoring and updating the system
- Submit meter reads and download utility invoices
- Assist with the Company’s annual audit
- Ad-hoc analysis of company expense lines
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Monitoring and updating cashflow on a daily basis
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review
- Posting of accruals & prepayments
- Reconcile loan accounts
- Process loan documentation for cashflow purposes and audit purposes
- Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management including high level excel based
- reporting
Person Specification:
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport.
- 2 years + accounts experience
- Advanced use of Microsoft excel
- Being flexible and taking an active part in the implementation of new practices and processes.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Proactive
- Good communication skills
- Use Xero Accounting system (desirable)
