Elevation Accountancy and Finance were delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Wetherby as they look to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Raising Bank payments
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Raise sales invoices including processing rental income statements
  • Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements
  • Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements
  • Maintain daily ledgers including monitoring and updating the system
  • Submit meter reads and download utility invoices
  • Assist with the Company’s annual audit
  • Ad-hoc analysis of company expense lines 
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Monitoring and updating cashflow on a daily basis
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for review
  • Posting of accruals & prepayments
  • Reconcile loan accounts
  • Process loan documentation for cashflow purposes and audit purposes
  • Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management including high level excel based
  • reporting

Person Specification:

  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport.
  • 2 years + accounts experience
  • Advanced use of Microsoft excel
  • Being flexible and taking an active part in the implementation of new practices and processes.
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail 
  • Computer literate
  • Proactive
  • Good communication skills
  • Use Xero Accounting system (desirable)
