Pyramid8 are recruiting for exciting opportunity has arisen for a a Business Development Executive to join an ambitious team to generate sales and build relationships with lapsed or new clients. The role offers the opportunity to grow and develop in a sales role and offers the opportunity to meet clients face to face. Over 15 years’ experience in the industry selling IT products and services into the Retail Sectors.
This is a new role in the team, and they are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team. There will be an opportunity to learn and develop they are ideally looking for someone who has experience in sales, they are open to individuals with the right attitude, the ability to make calls and be self-motivated and pro-active is key.
You will primarily be working on a wide variety of client campaigns and new business with given leads, responsible for making calls, generating appointments and leads, sending emails and updating records.
To be fully successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent communications skills with a clear confident telephone manner
- Experience in Cold Calling and dealing with incoming enquiries and leads
- Good IT skills and to be confident in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Tenacity and a positive attitude
- Great attention to detail
- GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Previous experience in a sales calling role would be preferred although not essential, as full training and support will be given. However, we would expect the successful candidate to be able to demonstrate a drive and passion for this type of role.
