Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with their social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- Direct or transferable experience working with children, preferably in a special needs setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with special needs.
- Ideally, possess a DBS on the update system. If not, must be willing to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Additional training such as British Sign Language is desirable
