Office and Logistics Manager

Up to £29k pa – Full time

You will work Monday to Friday. Normal working hours are 8.30am to 5pm

Our client is looking for an experienced Office & Logistics Manager to join their team and work at the head office, near Wetherby.

The Role 

This is a very interesting and varied role which will include the following duties:

  • Overseeing all the back-office operations including processing customer orders received through our showrooms and online through to delivery of the goods.
  • Managing a small team.
  • Involvement in stock control and purchasing, liaising closely with the Warehouse Manager
  • Processing customer orders
  • Liaising with customers to book their deliveries and planning a schedule of deliveries
  • Answering the phone and handling customer enquiries/complaints
  • Oversee the management of utility contracts for the business
  • Lead on the ordering of materials needed for the warehouse and office
  • Other office admin duties

You will be

  • Able to work well as part of the team and on your own. 
  • Experienced in managing others and managing a busy office environment.
  • Experienced in planning and organising truck deliveries and using external delivery partners.
  • IT literate with experience of using Microsoft products such as Word/Excel. 
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels in writing, face to face and by phone with a helpful and confident manner. 
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to manage your own time effectively. A flexible approach and be able to balance different aspects of this role. 
  • Organised & proactive in finding new ways to support the business to run efficiently.
