Job Details

Hours: Full-time or part-time opportunities available.

Location: Wetherby, West Yorkshire

Transportation: Driving is essential due to location; however, carpool options may be available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of pupils' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Deliver effective therapy using evidence-based practices, incorporating diverse modalities.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with families, caregivers, and other professionals for a holistic approach.
  • Advocate for students' rights and ensure access to appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
  • Support and supervise students with complex needs, addressing swallowing and choking risks.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and regular supervision.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment that values diversity.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to ethical and client-centered practice.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and independently.
