The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
Hours: Nights on a 40-hour contract, 5 shifts out of 7 (weekends included) on an advanced rota basis. Night shifts start between 10pm and midnight (10 hour shifts max).
Pay Rate: Nights - 拢17.12 per hour
Location: Weybridge, KT13
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
路 Working set shifts (rota planned in advance), 5/7 shifts every week
路 Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
路 Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
路 Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
路 Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
路 Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
路 Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
路 No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
路 Full understanding of WTD legislation.
路 Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
路 Excellent communication skills.
路 A safety-first mindset.
