The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team on days
*please note that assessment will be required but may be at another local depot*
Shifts:Shifts across Monday to Sunday - 10am starts (12 hour shifts)
Pay Rate:£16.72 per hour PAYE. rising to £18.55 after 12 weeks
Location:Weybridge, KT13
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
. Internation work
Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
. Filling out daily timesheets and analysing paperwork against load on board
. Reporting any discrepancies
Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
