Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their Regional ERP team, providing expert support and consultancy services across finance and controlling modules. About the Role

As a SAP FI/CO Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing financial systems, ensuring alignment with business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify requirements, provide innovative solutions, and contribute to process improvements. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and consulting skills to drive efficiency across multiple subsidiaries.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for ERP financial systems, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Act as an internal consultant, analyzing business needs and implementing best-practice solutions.
  • Configure and maintain SAP FI/CO modules to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Identify system gaps and propose improvements to enhance functionality.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align SAP solutions with business objectives.
  • Support risk and compliance reporting, advising senior management on improvements.
  • Participate in internal audits and provide insights to enhance financial controls.
  • Ensure all activities conform to company standards and service levels.
  • Manage tasks effectively, meeting deadlines and user expectations.
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary teams for large-scale ERP projects.
  • Provide user training and guidance to enhance SAP adoption.
  • Offer technical support during system updates, implementations, and audits.
  • Collaborate with European and global teams to ensure system integration and compliance.
  • Provide holiday cover and support users across multiple locations.

  • European subsidiaries and regional headquarters.
  • Finance, IT, and business operations teams.
  • Global ERP support teams and external consultants.

Skills & Experience
Essential:
  • Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO with experience in system implementation and support.
  • Deep understanding of financial processes and ERP workflows.
  • Ability to lead discussions, gather requirements, and present technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe and to global headquarters as needed.

Desired:
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA and Fiori Apps.
  • Experience with SAP SD/MM modules and their integration with FI/CO.
  • Project management skills with experience in system audits and business process improvement.
  • Exposure to digital strategy deployment and agile development methodologies.
  • Consultancy experience and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks.
