English Lecturer
- job Type: Part time 22.2 hours pw 8:30am-5pm Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
- Location: Surrey
- Salary Range: up to £38,186paFTE
Day-to-day of the role of an English Lecturer:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching to students 16+
- Act as a personal tutor, promoting attendance and supporting students' academic and personal development.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development, and review activities within the Construction department.
- Drive continuous improvement in teaching standards and student outcomes within the college
- Maintain course and learner records
- To embed employment skills in to the curriculum courses
Required Skills & Qualifications for the English Lecturer:
- A full teaching qualification or currently working towards one
- Experience teaching in education degree in subject area
- Relevant industry experience or qualifications in the field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students
