Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead a team of Chefs, Catering Assistants, and Team Leaders to deliver a friendly and welcoming dining experience.
  • Ensure the execution of centralised, proven menus that meet health and safety, allergen safety, and food safety standards.
  • Manage all financial aspects of the catering operation, keeping within budget while maintaining high quality and value.
  • Enjoy a balanced work schedule with most Friday or Saturday evenings off, especially outside of peak season, limited late nights, and no working over Christmas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience leading teams in a mid-to-large scale dining environment.
  • Understanding of food mass production.
  • Strong managerial, organisational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and handling complex dietary requirements, including allergies and intolerances.
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 7061/2 (or equivalent) and Level 3 or above in Food Safety and Allergen Management.
