Vehicle Evaluation & Customer Experience Engineer

Location: Cranfield
Pay: £27.00 - £29.00 per hour

We are looking for a Vehicle Evaluation & Customer Experience Engineer to join a globally recognised automotive company in Cranfield. This long-term contract role offers the potential for several years of work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct dynamic and static vehicle testing with a focus on customer evaluations.
• Perform automotive competitor benchmarking.
• Manage projects, including raising and tracking development concerns.
• Focus on User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) aspects.
• Collaborate across functional teams.
• Deliver projects and testing activities within deadlines.
• Produce professional engineering test and study results.
• Create benchmark and market trend reports.
• Clearly articulate customer-based needs and requirements both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong prioritization and autonomous work abilities.
• Problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Experience in clear and concise report writing and verbal communication.
• Understanding of vehicle development processes and performance attributes.
• Previous experience in UI/UX development and/or automotive connected services is preferred.
• Clear communication skills in English in a business context.
• Knowledge and experience in the automotive industry.

Hours & Pay:
Core hours: Monday-Thursday, 08:00-17:00 Friday 08:00-13:20.
Flexibility to travel is preferred.
Valid UK driving licence required.
Pay: £27.00 - £29.00 per hour.
