What You Will Do:

· Carry out part and system design tasks on Body in White (BIW) and trim components, focusing on cost, quality, and timing.

· Engage in design activities related to innovative technologies, cost optimisation, and breakthrough ideas for both future and current production vehicles.

· Study technical solutions, build business cases, and lead the validation and adoption of new designs.

· Lead and support communication and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and manufacturing plants.

· Collaborate with a broad range of entities across the organisation, including technical and business centres in Europe and beyond.

· Utilise CAD and other provided tools to create and adapt designs in line with company standards and processes.

What You Will Bring:

· Minimum HNC/HND or international equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, with a degree-level qualification preferred.

· Necessary experience working with metal pressings, assembly, and/or trim parts, with a preference for expertise in both commodities.

· Extensive automotive design experience, ideally at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier level, including supplier management.

· Desirable CAD skills, preferably in NX, though not mandatory.

· A valid driving licence in the UK/EU and sufficient English language skills to carry out required work.
