We are recruiting a Design Engineering Services for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years.
Key Responsibilities of Design Engineering Services:
- Development of Nissan Genuine Accessories across multiple disciplines.
- Mechanical/ Trim/Electrical [Flexibility is desired].
- Confirm fitment and application of accessories with vehicles.
- Ensure development meets technical, cost and timing target.
- Supporting accessories adoption for SV (Special Versions) vehicles.
- Support market / quality enquires where applicable.
- Complete successfully design reviews at various stages of development.
- On time delivery of accessories against key milestones.
Qualifications & Experience for the Body Electronics Engineer:
- Engineer should be able to work on their own initiative within Nissan Engineering standards.
- Support from Nissan (NTCE) technical functions will be provided as required.
- Bachelor Honours degree in Engineering.
- Min. 3 Years Automotive OEM and/or (relevant) supplier experience.
- CAD skill (preferably NX).
- Clear and conscious communication skill.
- Cross functional approach and team player.
Hours & Pay for the Body Electronics Engineer:
- Monday to Friday
- 39 hours per week
- £27.94 per hour
