This is a unique opportunity for an Electrical Reliability Test Engineer to contribute to groundbreaking projects within one of Europe's leading automotive technical centres. What You Will Do:

  • Lead electrical function, performance, and reliability tests for Body Electronics and CAN architecture/network testing.
  • Manage concern identification to root cause investigation, including countermeasure recommendation.
  • Support design departments to ensure the quality of component testing and create detailed test plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate overall vehicle test technical aspects, including project leadership as required.
  • Provide technical support to production plants and test houses and offer field investigation support for responsible systems.
  • Generate formal test reports and ensure electrical systems meet the company’s rigorous standards.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a deep understanding of electrical theory and electronic devices.
  • Relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development, having completed at least two vehicle developments, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Experience with automotive electrical architecture and a strong grasp of network communications principles.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving tools and techniques, with practical experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development.
  • Understanding of electromagnetics and of vehicle EMC test requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with competency in Microsoft Excel and Project.
  • A proactive, positive, and energetic personality, flexible regarding working practices and hours, and able to multitask between projects.
  • Ability to travel abroad on occasion, typically for a few days to 2 weeks.
