Job Title: Service Coordinator (Admin Based)

Salary starting from 24,200

Location: Market Drayton and Whitchurch

We have a fantastic opportunity in the Whitchurch-Market Drayton area for a Service Coordinator.

This is mainly an admin role with just 7.5 hours of care per week.

As a Service Coordinator, you will provide exceptional support to adults with learning disabilities and Autism, helping them develop and maintain independence, and participate in community activities, leisure, education, and work opportunities in a person-centred manner.

You will assist the Service Manager in overseeing the daily operations of three supported living services that offer 24-hour care, seven days a week. You will be running care rotas, on calls, admin for the services, paperwork for new referrals, liaising with families and external stakeholders.

Effective management is crucial for all these services to ensure high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities and Autism. Your teams will help the supported individuals maintain independence and engage in activities of their choice.

To be considered for this role;

You will be an experienced health and social care professional, a strong communicator, and able to network and collaborate with people at all levels. Confidence and sector knowledge are essential, along with the ability to handle tasks independently and seek help when needed. Proficiency in IT and clear writing skills are required, along with significant experience in person-centred and positive behaviour support.

Candidates without a level 3 qualification will be considered if they are willing to work towards it. Suitable supervisory experience and professional knowledge in the learning disability sector are preferred.

Essential Requirements:

Driver with UK manual licence and own vehicle.

Level 3 in Health and Social Care or working towards

An understanding of Person-Centred thinking and planning

Good communication skills. Good literacy skills

Good IT knowledge/skills/systems

Experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and Autism
