It's rare you'll come across firms who have one of the biggest names in the game backing them, whilst retaining their SME feel within the business. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineering Manager to join just a company, bringing technical solutions to the Front End of projects before seeing them through within leadership.
This is a remote position, with trips up to head office in the Whitehaven area.
The role will involve providing engineering and technical leadership on major projects within the Nuclear Decommissioning sector. You will ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while managing multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
This would suit an engineering professional (electrical, mechanical or multi-disciplined) with a background in technical leadership, ideally from the Nuclear industry. You will have significant experience in project delivery, managing teams, and business development, and will possess a strong ability to drive quality and performance across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary technical teams to deliver design and engineering solutions.
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring budget, quality, and schedule targets are met.
- Support business development by identifying and developing new opportunities and contributing to tender submissions.
- Manage the delivery of engineering work and technical solutions on behalf of the company.
- Actively manage project technical risks and ensure adherence to project-specific engineering execution plans.
In return you'll receive a salary up to 70,000, 25 days + Bank Holidays (increasing with tenure) + Christmas shutdown + your birthday off + the option of buying and selling holidays if that's not enough! You'll also get outstanding Pension Contributions of 13% from the business, discounts on energy bills and the ability to work remotely.
So if you're looking for a role with one of the biggest names in the game, but somewhere you feel you can make a difference, get in touch today with Mark Dorey on (url removed), or call on (phone number removed).
