We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cumbria, who are recruiting for a Property Inspector on a temporary three month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £20 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of repairs within a Housing setting, and have strong communication skills.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Dealing with low level repairs on domestic properties such as leaky taps and damaged plaster, and reporting these to the Housing Association
  • Customer facing and providing updates on expected repair times
  • Putting a remedy in place with repairs teams
  • Take photos of issues and pass on to surveyors as needed

Skills and experience required:

  • A Full UK Driving Licence
  • An understanding of repairs
  • Knowledge of housing and relevant legislation
