Teaching Assistant Needed in Whitehaven.

About Us:We are a nurturing and inclusive educational institution committed to providing a supportive learning environment for all our students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Whitehaven and Workington.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in managing classroom activities and administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supervise and engage with students during school activities and breaks.
  • Support students with their educational and social development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous work experience in childcare in any setting.
  • Legal: Right to work in the UK.
  • Certification: Preferably an enhanced DBS certificate. If you do not have one, we can assist in applying.
  • Skills: Patience, understanding, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • SEN: Ability or willingness to work with SEN children.
