We are working with an established client in North Tyneside who are looking for administration / post completion support to join their team.

Established in North Tyneside over 100 years ago, our client has developed a trusted reputation through a strong base of repeat clients. This solid foundation has enabled the firm to expand its range of legal services successfully.

The role has a starting salary of £24,000, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Part time applicants will also be considered.

This role involves managing conveyancing matters from completion to registration with the Land Registry, as well as providing general support to our conveyancing fee earners in handling sales, purchases, and remortgages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit applications to the Land Registry.
  • Ensure applications are submitted within the OS1 priority period and that requisitions are responded to before the cancellation date.
  • Ensure compliance with mortgage lender post-completion requirements (LMS/Lender Exchange).
  • Ensure clients receive confirmation and documentation upon completion of registrations.
  • Close sale and purchase files once all tasks are completed.
  • Assist fee earners with ID checks, downloading title documents from the Land Registry, issuing draft contract packs, and responding to enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the legal sector with a background in conveyancing is essential and a strong understanding of the post-completion process is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Land Registry applications and mortgage lender post-completion requirements is a plus.
