Job Title: Production/Machine Operative
Location: Whitstable
Hours: Monday to Friday 6 am-2 pm, then 2 pm-10 pm- rotating weekly shift. Work 8 hours and get paid 8 hours - paid breaks
Salary: £12.20 Per Hour

They are currently seeking a skilled Production/Machine Operative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring efficient production processes, and adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery efficiently and safely according to company guidelines and procedures.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent malfunctions and downtime.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production and implement appropriate solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Operating Forklifts safety
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and goals.
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- A forklift/ counterbalance licence (Not essential)
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
- Familiarity with operating machinery and equipment is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
