Hours: Monday to Friday 6 am-2 pm, then 2 pm-10 pm- rotating weekly shift. Work 8 hours and get paid 8 hours - paid breaks

They are currently seeking a skilled Production/Machine Operative to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring efficient production processes, and adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery efficiently and safely according to company guidelines and procedures.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to prevent malfunctions and downtime.
  • Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Operating Forklifts safety
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and goals.
  • Complete production reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • A forklift/ counterbalance licence (Not essential)
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).
  • Familiarity with operating machinery and equipment is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
