Role and Responsibilities
- Maximise sales conversion through efficient processing of enquiries and orders
- Engaging with clients both on and off site in a supporting role with the aim of developing a broader customer base
- Implementing, contributing to and maintaining office-based sales procedures
- Preparing and following up quotations
- Processing orders
- Maintaining the customer database, ensuring that all activities from the team are recorded within the Opportunity Tracker
- Providing reports and analysis as required
- Generating sales enquiries, through targeted contact via phone, email and web-based investigations, including both lapsed customers and prospects
- Providing customer liaison in the event of delays or issues with products and services
- Providing management with information relating to the sales pipeline and quotation performance
- Supporting in general sales administration activities as required, such as export compliance tasks and NDA completion
- Sourcing quotes from multiple suppliers for repeat part quotes
Candidate requirements
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Working under pressure in a fast growth environment, showing drive, motivation, and enthusiasm
- Experience in building productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Using own initiative, being creative and applying good problem-solving skills
- Excellent IT skills
