Role and Responsibilities

  • Maximise sales conversion through efficient processing of enquiries and orders
  • Engaging with clients both on and off site in a supporting role with the aim of developing a broader customer base
  • Implementing, contributing to and maintaining office-based sales procedures
  • Preparing and following up quotations
  • Processing orders
  • Maintaining the customer database, ensuring that all activities from the team are recorded within the Opportunity Tracker
  • Providing reports and analysis as required
  • Generating sales enquiries, through targeted contact via phone, email and web-based investigations, including both lapsed customers and prospects
  • Providing customer liaison in the event of delays or issues with products and services
  • Providing management with information relating to the sales pipeline and quotation performance
  • Supporting in general sales administration activities as required, such as export compliance tasks and NDA completion
  • Sourcing quotes from multiple suppliers for repeat part quotes

Candidate requirements

  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Working under pressure in a fast growth environment, showing drive, motivation, and enthusiasm
  • Experience in building productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Using own initiative, being creative and applying good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent IT skills
