Salary: 12.50 per hour
Hours: 40hrs per week. Monday - Thursday 07.30 - 16:30, Friday 07.30 - 13.30
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in picking and packing, as well as basic assembly operations. A Counterbalance forklift truck license would be advantageous but not essential.
This is a temporary role until 20th December 2024
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with basic assembly operations as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage
Requirements:
- Previous experience in picking and packing
- Ability to perform basic assembly operations
- A Counterbalance forklift truck license is advantageous but not required
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse setting
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Good numeric and literacy skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
