My client, an Engineering company based in the Droitwich are is looking to recruit a CNC Section Manager on a permanent basis
This is a hands-on role, where you will manage the team to deliver a first class service to customers, both external and internal, and ensuring that production targets are met
The main functions of the role include
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the CNC machine shop
- Allocate tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure production targets are met
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimise performance and maintain product quality
- interpret detailed blueprints and drawings/Calculate dimensions
- Measure and test completed products to check for defects
- Monitor and control costs in line with the business plan
- Provide customer quotations
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Previous experience working in managerial or supervisory role is essential
- Previous experience in the programming, setting and operating of XYZ CNC machines is essential
- An ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both colleagues and customers
- An understanding of the demands of the role and the time and attention needed to produce impressive results
- A successful track record of delivering outstanding results
- Experience in product costing
- Understanding of CAD/CAM software
This role is based on Mon-Fri and the salary on offer is up to 45,000
