Our client is seeking to recruit a Key Account Manager to join their successful and growing team.

Salary will be30-35k dependent on experience with 10% incentives.

B2B trade experience is preferable.

Horticulture experience or interest would be beneficialbut is not essential.

Job Purpose: Responsible for managing and developing long term relationships with key customers, to maximise sales and profitability in accordance with company strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Meet/exceed agreed sales targets and margin targets.

Create account plans for individual key account customers.

Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients.

Build and maintain strong client relationships by conducting regular visits.

Understand key customer individual needs and provide solutions to improve customer service.

Assist the Senior Key Account Manager with the preparation of annual sales plans.

Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to ensure client feedback is heard and actioned accordingly.

Assist in the development of our brand and corporate image, via promotional activities such as industry events/trade shows.

Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of our business, offerings, competitors and industry.

Prepare regular sales analysis to report in meetings.

Work with other departments to develop strategies for long term orders.
