Design Co-ordinator – Facades
Are you an experienced and dynamic Design Coordinator with a passion for façade systems? We are actively seeking a talented Design Coordinator to be based from the contractors head office.
The contractor as an excellent reputation within the façade and drylining sector and are renowned for delivery know how and exquisite finishes. The Design Co-ordinator will be ready and able to take the responsibility of working on £million schemes and will be involved in the conception and issuance of all design activities in line with outbound requirements for the project demands. The Design Coordinator will work to ensure information systems within the unit serves the purposes of the design team and others. Working closely with the production and commercial units, the purpose of this role is to ensure designs are robust, cost effective and fit for purpose.
The successful Design Co-ordinator will have previous experience working in the role, with ideally
- Design co-ordinator with sub-contractor facade experience
- Must be able to work in the office, with the exception of working from home
- Ability to manage & lead design meetings (virtually & physically)
- Knowledge of how to use various online portals for upload & download of drawings
- Have a pro-active mentality
- Ability to plot design against programmes and feed onto other departments that are directly linked to design
