Overview
We are seeking for Mechanical Assemblers to join one of our clients based in Wickford. The ideal candidate wills possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembling components within a warehouse environment. This role requires proficiency in using both power and hand tools to ensure high-quality assembly of products.
Duties
- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise assembly processes and improve efficiency.
- Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety practices is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.61-£13.50 per hour
