We are looking for a dedicated Complex Needs LSA to join our secondary schools in Wickford, starting immediately. As a Complex Needs LSA, you will be responsible for supporting students with a range of complex needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and communication challenges. The successful Complex Needs LSA will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the tailored assistance they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key responsibilities of the Complex Needs LSA include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with complex needs in the classroom and during other school activities.
  • Assisting with personal care, mobility, and communication as needed, ensuring students are comfortable and fully engaged in their learning.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO to create and implement individual learning plans.
  • Using specialist equipment and resources to help students access the curriculum and meet their learning objectives.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

The ideal Complex Needs LSA will be patient, empathetic, and experienced in supporting children with a variety of complex needs. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.
