Do you have any TAs with SEMH experience and may be interested in supporting learners outside of classes to reintegrate into class? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual for the Outreach SEMH Support position at our secondary schools in Wickford. As an SEMH Support professional, you will play a crucial role in assisting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, facilitating their reintegration into the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH challenges, fostering their social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Utilize positive behavior management techniques to encourage appropriate behavior and engagement in learning activities.
- Monitor and record student progress, adjusting support strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and academic success of all students.
