In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of construction projects through effective cost control measures. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with professionals from different disciplines.

Duties
- Conduct cost estimates and prepare budgets for construction projects
- Monitor project progress to ensure costs remain within budget
- Analyse construction plans and contracts to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare tender documents and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Evaluate variations in project scope and their impact on costs
- Provide advice on procurement strategies to achieve best value for money

Experience
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Excel and industry-specific quantity surveying software
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is desirable
