A leading and innovative UK-based organisation is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Finance Team.

Job Summary:This role focuses on managing statutory financial reporting, internal controls, and audits while overseeing financial compliance and supporting the charity's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compliance with financial regulations and standards, acting as the technical finance lead.
  • Lead the group's statutory accounts preparation and manage the external audit process.
  • Ensure balance sheet integrity and oversee monthly balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
  • Manage financial integrations arising from Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
  • Oversee submissions to HMRC
  • Lead the production of internal management accounts, working closely with Finance Business Partners.
  • Coach, develop, and manage team members to meet performance and professional development goals.

Ideal Candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified (Essential).
  • Significant experience in financial management, audit, and statutory reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Strong experience in M&A accounting, consolidation, and complex reporting in a group structure.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage audits and integrations effectively.
  • Proficient communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
